The Making Comics Studios website has changed a few times over the years so in the tradition of naming newly updated software applications we shall crown this version of the MC site Making Comics Studios 4.0.

Making Comics Studios has been around since 2003 self publishing their stories in the comic book medium. And it’s a tough medium to make your mark in. There are countless comic book studios, publishers, and websites out there yearning for your supportive currency. The team at MC Studios took a different approach. We certainly love money, but we love to tell our stories and share them with others even more. Our primary focus wasn’t always the almighty dollar. Our focus was to learn the craft and improve our skills. Over the years we’ve done just that. And in a time when affordable technology is accessible to anyone to make a comic or a movie or really any type of media it was apparent we needed to re-brand and refocus and take advantage of the tools before us.

That’s the reason behind the new look and the new site. Everyone dreams of making a living doing the things that they enjoy and ours just happens to be media related. Our drive is to take our comic book concepts forward into new exciting technologies and venues. We’ll always be here making comic books, but bringing these characters to life in film and animation would make us grin from ear to ear.
